Mercury Displacement
Relays are used in industry where rapid on off switching
of loads is essential to control a process. Applications
include Heating elements, Motor loads, 'Tungsten lamps,
or other inductive or resistive loads.
Mercury Displacement Relays can have typical operate
times of 50 milliseconds and release times of 80 milliseconds.
These Mercury Displacement Relays are capable of millions
of cycles and can be used in operating temperatures
from -35ºC to +85ºC.
Mercury Displacement Relays are available in 1, 2, 3,
and 4, poles and in a current handling capacities of
20, 35, 60, and 100, amps. Various coil voltages both
AC or DC are available with operating voltages up to
600 volts.
